Herwin Z Yengnone is a Master of Arts student in Geography and Environment at the Faculty of Social Science of Western University. She is interested in researching the causes and prevalence of food loss in the Techiman market in Ghana. Techiman market, popularly known as the breadbasket of Ghana, grapples with significant food loss from harvest to the market. Despite increased food production, food insecurity still persists in the region. At WeCLISH Centre, Herwin hopes to share her research, acquire new skills and knowledge, specifically in climate change-related issues, participate in discussions, and learn from others. She also expects to establish collaborations to advance research opportunities.
